LONDON (AP) — A British news agency says that disgraced rocker Gary Glitter has returned to London. Glitter's return Friday ends a two-day odyssey after his release from a Vietnamese prison where he served time for molesting children.

Glitter's real name is Paul Francis Gadd. He was convicted in Vietnam in 2006 of committing "obscene acts with children" — offenses involving girls aged 10 and 11. He had a previous conviction in Britain for possessing child pornography. Glitter's most successful song, the crowd-pleasing anthem "Rock and Roll (Part 2)," cracked the top 10 in the U.S.
